American sock and underwear titan Stance wanted a road-ready solution to take their products to new markets and create a unique, interactive brand experience.
Solution
We delivered our flagship Vendmax™ machines complete with a custom user interface and bespoke branded sidecar.
Since 2019, these custom machines have been touring music festivals and sneaker conventions across Europe.
HYPE
We designed a custom 'sock reclamation' pod for the machine.
Users are prompted to remove their old (un-cool) socks and deposit them into the machine to be recycled.
Once deposited, out comes a shiny new pair of uber cool Stance socks!
User interface
The experience for users of the Stance sock reclimation vending machine was fully designed by their in-house team, we then built it exactly to their specifications. It comprises of an email data capture and another rather unusual mechanic, old socks!
We also built a custom sidecar to house the sock despenser funnel and kitted it out with some fully bespoke electronics to record when a sock had been deposited.
